The Power of Us: Celebrating a Milestone Year for the Kikin Community

The Power of Purposeful Financing

When we built Kikin, we did so with a specific thesis: that capital should do more than just fuel a balance sheet; it should fuel a better future. As we reflect on 2025, our data shows that when founders and operators align their growth with intention, the results are impressive.

2025 by Numbers

Together with our customers, we have reached a pivotal milestone in our mission to integrate sustainability into the DNA of modern business:

  • 107,825 kg of CO₂ offset annually.
  • 4,313 new trees planted across the globe.

These aren't just abstract statistics. These numbers represent tangible restoration, cleaner air, and the revitalisation of critical ecosystems that support local communities.

Global Projects, Local Impact

Our collective efforts haven't just stayed on a spreadsheet; they have flowed directly into high-impact ecological projects across the globe. By choosing to build with Kikin, our partners have helped:

  • Restore the High Andes: Re-establishing native Polylepis forests in South America to protect biodiversity.
  • Protect Kenyan Rainforests: Saving the last remaining fragments of tropical rainforest in Kenya.
  • Secure Water Resources: Planting trees in Kenyan forests specifically to improve local water security and watershed health.
  • Green the Southern Highlands: Supporting the Mpimbwe Campaign in Tanzania to combat deforestation.
  • Nurture Forest Gardens: Implementing sustainable forest gardens in Busoga, Uganda, to support both the earth and the local economy.

A heartfelt ‘Thank You’ from all of us at Kikin

To every founder who chose a different path for their financing, to every operator who looked at their supply chain with a critical eye, and to every team building with intention: thank you.

This milestone belongs to you. This is what happens when financing is built to support better businesses and a better future. We are proud to be the engine behind your growth, and we are even prouder of the footprint—or lack thereof—we are leaving together.

Let’s keep building.
